Daniel O. McNamara, MBA, CFP - Financial Advisor

Daniel O. McNamara is a Financial Advisor with Old Mission Investment Company. Dan joined Old Mission Investment Company following his tenure at National City Investments and AG Edwards in Traverse City. Dan received his Bachelors of Science degree from Michigan State University in Business Administration in 1992, later earning his Masters of Business Administration from the Haworth College of Business, Western Michigan University in 2007. Dan is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certificate holder, after meeting the educational, examination, experience and ethics requirements as set forth by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Dan provides financial planning assistance to clients of Old Mission Investment Company, while also providing portfolio management assistance through the investment committee at Old Mission. As a Certified Financial Planner, Dan is required to fulfill 30 hours of continuing education every 24 months in areas involving advanced financial planning, estate, taxation, and investment management. He is involved with the Grand Traverse Area Literacy Council, providing assistance to increase public awareness of the impact of illiteracy and the benefits of a literate public.
