Robert W. Stibbs is a Principal and Co-Founder of Old Mission Investment Company. Bob earned his Bachelors of Science degree in accounting from Western Michigan University. Bob was a practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through Seidman and Seidman, Traverse City, Michigan, following receipt of his CPA certificate in 1975. Bob affiliated with Thomson McKinnon, a regional brokerage firm, in 1988 later following with employment through Prudential Securities as a Vice President of Investments. Prior to founding Old Mission Investment Company, Bob was a First Vice President of Investments with Wachovia Securities.
In addition to serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Old Mission Investment Company, Bob also holds his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certificate. He earned his CFP designation in 2008 after meeting educational, examination, experience and ethics requirements as set forth by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Bob also maintains his CPA certificate, and is a member in good standing of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Bob is a member of the investment committee at Old Mission Investment Company, focusing on investment management and asset allocation decisions for our clients. Bob enjoys both tennis and a good round of golf.
